Okay, so I was checking out top blogs yesterday, I stopped and took a look at  shiny' s "Hitler is Cool Again" blog I noticed that the website was whitestkids.com, Chris (my husband person) even commented on it ( he watched the video too). I didn't think much of it just some lame kids.

  Well, I don't get much time to surf channels on the tv or watch movies but last night I was checking out the the high numbered channels, you know with the movies and HBO and what not on them. I came across the IFC, the independent film channel. Now, maybe it's just me but did anyone else know that there is a tv show called- The Whitest Kids U' Know ?  Now, until I read shiny's blog (oh at around 6pm ) I'd never heard of this group of  "actors" but could you imagine my surprise to find at, oh I don't know - 9pm- just a few hours later, that they had a whole tv show! Wait not only do they have a whole tv show but in February, they'll be in the second season! I feel like I'm so out of touch with the world. AND what would be a bigger coincidence but to find it all out in a matter of hours from two completely different soures?  Was anyone else in the dark? Or was it just me?

 Anyway, I watch a couple of these shows to see what the heck it was about. Yes, they are know the whitest kids I know, lol. Seriously though, none of it had much to do with them being white or anything. Some of it was pretty funny. Alot of it was lame. It was like "Jackass" met "Mad TV". The one thing I will say, it was really well produced, professional, and the actors kept it together.

  Then I watch a second one. They had gotten to a specific sketch in where two of the actors played boys who had some "pot" and the one's mother was coming in the room, upon seeing the drugs she got upset, and he son changed the subject and ratted out his dad's affair, the mom went crazy. The skit was funny, the explanation wasn't. The reason being, it was a true story about one of the actors (Tervor I think ) . After he ratted out his dad, his mother went nuts and left. They thought she'd never come back but they were wrong, she came back that same night and bashed in the dad's head. I'm not sure what to make of this whole thing. The small documentary at the end of that one show really unnerved me. After thinking about all the sketches these guys had preformed I realized that some of them actually had some sort of meaning behind them, if you were looking for it. I'm just not sure anyone else would look for it.

 

Maybe It's just me.
