So I'm not sure how many of you guys actually read the book 1984, by George Orwell. I know for a fact at least 4-5 of you right off the top of my head have. Well if you haven't read it, maybe you should. It's considered "classic reading" for most purposes and is one of the most picked apart books of all times for literary purposes I'm sure. 

 Now the content, story or plot, whatever, is what is now "in play". The book was written in 1948, the title obviously the numbers switched. I would love to have known exactly what Orwell knew, what was going on in his mind, if he knew more than others of his time. Anyways, back to the story and one of history's most infamous dystopias. Let me give you a set up I copied right out of the wikipedia :

  Prolefeed:

It was used to describe the heaps of useless literature, movies and music that were produced by Prolesec, a section of the Ministry of Truth, to keep the "proles" (i.e., proletariat) content and to prevent them from becoming too knowledgeable and rebelling against the ruling Party.

ThoughtCrime/ThoughtPolice:

  The Thought Police (thinkpol in Newspeak) were the secret police  whose job it was to uncover and punish thoughtcrime. The Thought Police used psychology and omnipresent surveillance to find and eliminate members of society who were capable of the mere thought of challenging ruling authority.

( sound like any thing close to torture and blackwater)

 

Then you have the Ministries, the governing bodies.

OF Love: is to enforce loyalty and love of Big Brother through fear, torture, and brainwashing

OF Peace: is in charge of the armed forces, mostly the navy and army. Vital, since Oceania is in a prepetual war.

OF Truth: being responsible for the falsification of historical events; and yet is aptly named in a deeper sense, in that it created/manufactured "truth" in the newspeak sense of the word.

OF Plenty: It oversees public access to food, supplies, and goods. It is also in charge of rationing these goods.

 

Anyway, you get the point, you have your govenment, your well to do and your - proles. "Big Brother" runs your life, from the day your born to the day you die.  What to eat, what to wear, what job you'll ahve, if and when and to whom you will marry. What and if and when you are allowed to think and if  you thought's are deemed fit to think. 

So Orwell wrote this in 1948 ( it was published a year later) what do you think the government will be like in 2048? I'll be like, um 73 years old.

 

 

We don't have telescreens in our home, our government wants to put chips in our bodies. They can't read your mind with a screen. The governmet wants to automatically screen and put at risk (post pardum) mothers on meds, our taxes go up, our tv's HAVE to be digital, I'm not allowed to move my own money around in my own bank accounts, we're still at war and no one knows the reason, how long did the peace last before that? Are they really trying to take the right to teach my kids away from me, what the hell is in all of those vaccines anyway? My unailienable rights, I can't say want I want, I can't bear arms, Any officer can take my home, any officer can search anything without real reason. What rights?

No it's not odd, I read 1984. I'm actually very well informed,( there are many persons that blog here that show these truths) there are far too many coincidences, it's not even a conspiracy theory, it's just a conspiracy. The government wants control us and finds new ways everyday to do so. I'm just gonna be one of the people they are going to have to pry ( their dead lifeless body) off the steps of the White House, because at this point I am not going to let "THEM" make me do another damn thing I don't have to. Better men (and woman) than I have died for the rights we no longer have, it's about time we took them back. If and when I have to, I won't be afraid to do the same for my kids. There is only one "politician" that could help us, Dr. Ron Paul. I don't like calling him a "politician" because he doesn't play "politics". But the government won't let him in, they're scared of him, they should be. The corrupt institute, scared the new sheriff in town's gonna clean it up. He would! So they won't let him be elected. He has close to perfect views on every subject you just listed, not to mention, taxes, banking, social security, and the constitution as a whole. Basiclly if it violates the constituion, he is firmly against it! Wouldn't it be wonderful to have someone like that running our country----FOR US!.
